Under this scheme medical camps are arranged in interior village which are generally deprived of improved medical treatment. In such camp experienced doctors examine the patients. Medicines are supplied freely. Meanwhile, eye camps have been arranged and operations were performed on patients suffering from cataracts. Patients have thereby, regained their eyesight. Many top ranking doctors are associated with this scheme. However, a Primary Health Centre (PHC) run by the Government of Assam is now coming up with two experienced doctors.
